What goes into the installation of a AV shelf?

Most shelving systems must be assembled prior to installation, which, depending on the shelf, can be a time-consuming task due to the wires. This service is available in addition to the installation of the shelf on the wall.

Is it possible to conceal the wires with an AV shelf?

Yes. We install a single gang outlet box and a paintable faceplate with recessed cable guide. This gives the job a clean, professional appearance. The other cut-in box is placed behind the TV, and the cables are routed between the two locations. Because there may not be a power outlet behind your TV, you may need to take the power cord for your devices out of the wall near the floor. A soundbar can also be mounted above the shelf.
